The Township maintains three (3) large parks and four (4) parklets that provide quality areas for various sports and types of recreation. Each park includes ball fields, public restrooms and picnic pavilions. Typical activities include tennis, deck hockey, bocce, horseshoes and basketball. Playgrounds are available at all of the parks and parklets. An eight (8) week, Township supervised, summer youth and lunch program is held in Eastmont, Lions and Linhart parks each year. Other recreational events include the annual Easter Egg Hunt, Community Days and Fireworks, Arts Festival, and Lunch with Santa. All of these events are coordinated by the Township's Recreation Advisory Council. Information can be obtained on any of these events and facilities by contacting the Township Office.
