Department of Public Works

Ed Bruener
Public Works Manager

A nine (9) member Public Works Department is responsible for maintenance of the Township's infrastructure. In addition to snow removal, road repair and leaf collection, the Department also is responsible for maintaining the Municipal Building, storm and sanitary sewers, street and traffic signs as well as the Township Parks.

Free Firewood
During the course of the year, the Public Works Department cuts down and removes trees for various reasons. As a service to the residents, we are now making wood from these trees available to your for firewood. It is available on a first come/first serve basis at not cost. While it is cut to length, it is not split. The stockpile is located behind the Municipal building directly across from the former Rescue One garage.

Township Parks
We have been working on several projects in the parks. At Linhart, handicap access to the pavilion has been improved. Construction of new dugouts at the Eastmont Ball field is underway. At Lion's Park, in case you are wondering what the mess is, we are in the process of expanding the park.
