park directions
The Township maintains three (3) large parks
and one (1) parklet that provide quality areas for various sports
and types of recreation. Each park includes ball fields, public
restrooms and picnic pavilions. Typical activities include tennis,
deck hockey, bocce, horseshoes and basketball. Playgrounds are
available at all of the parks and parklet. An eight (8) week, Township
supervised, summer youth and lunch program is held in Eastmont,
Lions and Linhart parks each year. Other recreational events include
two Summer Series Events, which include Kid Fest, Car Cruise, fireworks,
and 5K race and in December an annual Christmas Party for Township
children. All of these events are coordinated by the Township's
Recreation Advisory Council. Information can be obtained on any
of these events and facilities by contacting the Township
Office.
(* Park and pavilion rentals require a permit which can be obtained at the Municipal
Building.)
